  Use case of surgical robots using the IOWN APN network

Providing stable surgical support and guidance as if you were there in person, even from a remote location

Stable communication is essential for surgical support and instruction performed remotely by a doctor operating a robot.　Through this research, by combining the surgical robot with “IOWN APN”, which is capable of ultra-low-latency, high-capacity communication, we have created a remote surgery environment with no discrepancies between sites. Furthermore, we will introduce a use case that combines APN technology and robots to realize smooth remote communication between doctors through the transmission of high-definition video and clear audio.
